Questions, answered plainly.
What is creatine monohydrate?
Creatine is a compound your body makes and stores, mostly in muscle. Creatine monohydrate is creatine bound to one water molecule. It's the simplest form, and the only ingredient in our jar. Creatine monohydrate supports the body's creatine stores, which play a role in ATP production during short, high-intensity effort.*
How do I take it?
Creatine: mix one scoop with 8 oz of water or juice. The label calls for four scoops a day for the first 5 days (loading phase), then one to two a day. Magnesium: three capsules once a day with water. Follow each label, or your healthcare professional's directions.
Can women take creatine?
Yes. Creatine isn't specific to men or women, and the directions are the same for everyone. If you're pregnant, nursing, under 18, or have a medical condition, check with your physician first.
How long does a jar last?
Creatine has 50 scoops. Following the label (5-day loading phase, then one scoop a day), a jar lasts about 35 days. After that, one scoop a day is 50 days per jar. Magnesium has 90 capsules: 30 days at three a day.
Why magnesium glycinate?
It's magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine, in a plain capsule with nothing to mix. Magnesium supports normal muscle and nerve function.*
